Wireless Voting System Rental, Run for You

Rent a wireless voting system and a technician who runs it, so every vote is counted cleanly with no cables, no app, and no dropped connections.

A wireless voting system lets every person in the room vote from a handheld keypad, with results on screen in seconds and nothing to wire up. Padgett Communications rents you the system and the person who runs it. A trained technician sets it up, tests every connection, and manages the vote live, so you are never troubleshooting wireless hardware in front of a full room. The keypads run on a secure, dedicated radio channel, not venue Wi-Fi, so there is no app to install and nothing to drop mid-vote.

We have focused on audience response and voting, and nothing else, since 1994: more than 30 years, 10,000+ events, and roughly 14,000 wireless keypads in inventory, so we can equip a vote of almost any size and still bring backups.

What a Wireless Voting System Includes

Every Padgett rental is a complete, staffed package:

• A wireless voting keypad for every participant, tested before the doors open
• A base station and voting software, configured for your ballot and rules
• A trained technician on site to run the vote and handle anything that comes up
• Live on-screen results plus a stored record for your minutes
• Backup keypads and receivers, standard on every event

The difference between a vote that runs smoothly and one that stalls is rarely the equipment. It is having someone who runs these systems for a living in the room with you. See our on-site management approach.

Why Wireless, and Why Dedicated RF

Not all wireless is equal. Consumer systems that lean on venue Wi-Fi or cellular are at the mercy of a crowded network, and a dropped connection during a live vote is not an option. The Padgett Plus keypad runs on a secure, dedicated radio frequency reserved for your event, so it does not compete for bandwidth and does not depend on the venue’s internet. That is what lets us run votes with no wireless interference, even in packed ballrooms and convention halls. Learn more about the Padgett Plus keypad.

Built for Secure, Defensible Votes

A wireless voting system has to stand up to scrutiny: the count has to be right and defensible. Padgett systems capture anonymous, auditable results you can report on the spot and record in your minutes, which makes them well suited to board elections, bylaw votes, and association ballots. For a full election program, see our elections and voting solutions.

What It Costs to Rent

Pricing depends on how many participants you need to equip, how many days you need the system, and how much on-site support your event calls for. Because every event is different, we quote each one individually and itemize it, so you see exactly what you are paying for with no hidden costs. Tell us your date, your headcount, and your ballot, and we will come back with a clear price.

Wireless Voting We’ve Run

A national church denomination’s triennial convention

A national church body holds a triennial convention where more than 3,000 voting delegates debate and adopt resolutions and elect officers, all under Robert’s Rules of Order. We ran the vote on wireless keypads with no wireless interference across every bylaw and election ballot, and set up staffed speaker-queue stations at each floor microphone so the chair could manage the debate and the vote together. The chair was able to run the floor smoothly, and the business sessions moved faster than in past years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the system use venue Wi-Fi?
No. The keypads run on a secure, dedicated radio channel reserved for your event, so there is nothing to install and nothing that depends on the venue’s internet.

Do I have to run the voting software myself?
No. Every Padgett rental includes a technician who runs the vote for you on site. You are never left to operate it alone.

How many participants can you equip?
We hold roughly 14,000 wireless keypads and regularly equip votes from a few dozen to several thousand. Tell us your headcount and we will scale to it.

Are the results anonymous and auditable?
Yes. The system captures anonymous, verifiable results you can report on the spot and record in your minutes.

Where do you provide wireless voting system rentals?
Across the United States and internationally. We travel to your event.
