Clicker Audience Response System Rentals from Padgett Communications

Handheld clickers that keep a room engaged and put every answer on screen in seconds.

Handheld clicker keypad used in an audience response system rentalA clicker audience response system turns a one-way presentation into a two-way exchange. Instead of one person talking while the room half-listens, every attendee gets a handheld clicker, answers questions as they come up, and sees the results on screen right away. It keeps people engaged for the full event, and it gives you real feedback you can act on while it still matters. When you want reliable hardware backed by hands-on service, Padgett Communications is the answer.

How Clicker Polling Works

The setup is simple from the audience’s side: each person holds a clicker, a question appears on screen, and they press a key to answer. Behind the scenes, the clickers send responses over a dedicated radio channel to a base station connected to the presenter’s computer. The software tallies the votes and can chart them live for the room or store them for reporting afterward. Nothing depends on venue Wi-Fi, and there’s no app to install.

The Padgett Plus Keypad

For your rental, we provide the Padgett Plus, our wireless voting keypad. It’s a rugged, single-purpose device built to do one thing reliably: register a vote and send it to the base station over a secure RF channel. It handles simple multiple-choice questions and more involved prompts alike, with login capability when a session needs to track responses to individual participants. Because every keypad runs on dedicated radio frequency rather than cellular or Wi-Fi, there’s nothing to drop and nothing to compete for bandwidth.

Why Rent from Padgett

The hardware is only half of what makes an event work. The other half is having someone who has done this hundreds of times standing in the room with you. Every Padgett rental includes full on-site management:

  • Pre-event planning to match the setup to your meeting
  • Testing every clicker and connection before the doors open
  • Hardware, rehearsal, and software setup coordinated with your program
  • A technician on site to run the system and handle anything that comes up live

That’s why we can point to a 100% event success rate. We don’t drop off equipment and wish you luck; we run it with you. See how it all comes together on our how it works page.
