Interactive Audience Response System Rental, Run for You
Rent an interactive audience response system and a technician who runs it, so your audience answers, votes, and reacts live, with results on screen in seconds.

An interactive audience response system turns a one-way presentation into a two-way exchange. Instead of talking at a room that half-listens, you ask a question, every person answers on a handheld keypad, and the results appear on screen right away. Padgett Communications rents you the full system and the person who runs it. A trained technician sets it up, tests it, and manages the interaction live, so you focus on your content, not the software.
We have focused on audience response, and nothing else, since 1994: more than 30 years, 10,000+ events, and roughly 14,000 keypads in inventory. That means we can make almost any size of audience interactive and still bring backups.
What an Interactive Audience Response System Does
The core experience is simple: a question appears, the audience answers on a keypad, and the system charts the results live. But the same system does far more than a single poll. Rent one to:
- Poll a room and show live results to spark discussion
- Test knowledge and measure retention during training
- Run anonymous votes on sensitive topics for candid feedback
- Hold secure board elections and association ballots
- Add interactive games and competition that keep a room engaged
Whatever the use, the interaction is instant and the results are yours to keep. Learn more about how audience response systems work.
How the System Works
Each participant holds a wireless keypad. A question appears on screen, they press a key, and their response travels over a secure, dedicated radio channel to a base station connected to the presenter’s computer. The software tallies the answers instantly and charts them live or stores them for reporting. Because it runs on dedicated RF rather than venue Wi-Fi, there is no app to install and nothing to drop mid-session. Every system is built around the Padgett Plus keypad.
Interactive, and Fully Staffed
The technology is only half of what makes an interactive session work. The other half is having someone who has run these systems thousands of times in the room with you. Every Padgett rental includes full on-site management:
- Pre-event planning to match the setup to your program
- Testing every keypad and connection before the doors open
- A technician on site to run the interaction live
- Live on-screen results plus a stored record for reporting
- Backup keypads and receivers, standard on every event
What It Costs to Rent
Pricing depends on how many participants you need to equip, how many days you need the system, and how much on-site support your event calls for. Because every event is different, we quote each one individually and itemize it, so you see exactly what you are paying for with no hidden costs. Tell us your date, your headcount, and what you want the interaction to do, and we will come back with a clear price.
Interactive Sessions We’ve Run
A Fortune 500 technology company’s annual meeting
Not every interactive session is a formal vote. For a large technology company’s annual gathering, we ran an upbeat, game-show-style trivia session over lunch, mixing music and friendly internal competition with real learning objectives. Questions reinforced the material from the morning’s sessions and gathered targeted feedback, all while the room was having fun. It became something attendees look forward to each year, with prizes and team rivalries that carry from one event to the next, and it turned the downtime between lectures into time that actually reinforced what people were there to learn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to run the system myself?
No. Every Padgett rental includes a technician who runs the interactive session for you on site. You are never left to operate it alone.
How many people can the system handle?
We hold roughly 14,000 keypads and regularly equip audiences from a few dozen to several thousand. Tell us your headcount and we will scale to it.
Do the keypads need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. They run on a secure, dedicated radio channel, so there is nothing to install and nothing that depends on venue internet.
Can the same system do polling, voting, and games?
Yes. One system handles live polling, secure elections, knowledge testing, and interactive games, all configured for your event.
Where do you provide interactive audience response systems?
Across the United States and internationally. We travel to your event.
